September 15, 2005
The goal was to choose pasteurized cheeses that would be crowd pleasers and also would appeal to wide audience of cheese eaters.
Six Cheeses

Piave Vecchio – Hard aged cow’s milk from Italy with a fruity flavor. Vecchio means aged.
Valdeon – Spanish creamy mild blue.
La Tur – 3-milk (cow/goat/sheep) pasteurized cheese from Italy. Soft and spreadable - spoonable at room temperature with a mushroomy flavor.
Saenkanter – 3-year-old Dutch Gouda. Caramel flavors and crunchy salt crystals.
